Job Description

We are seeking a part-time HR Payroll Coordinator to support U.S. and Canada payroll and benefits administration during a period of systems stabilization and process transition. This role will be based out of our Needham, MA office and offers a flexible, hybrid work environment.

The HR Coordinator will support payroll and benefits related processes, partner closely with HR Operations and Finance, and provide employee-facing support while interim manual processes remain in place.

This role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with payroll registers and benefits funding, and able to operate effectively in a changing environment.

Job Duties

Payroll & HR Operations

· Support U.S. payroll processes; experience with Canadian payroll is preferred

· Review payroll registers and prepare downstream payroll-related reports

· Experience using ADP is a strong plus

· Maintaining employee data in SuccessFactors (Onboarding/Offboarding/Employeoe transactions & approvals)

· Provide general HR coordination and operational support to regional HR business partners

401(k) Administration

· Complete 401(k) funding audit templates

· Coordinate approvals and obtain required signatures

· Submit documentation to Accounts Payable for funding

· Generate 401(k) reports based on payroll registers and provide to vendors

Employee Support

· Monitor and manage the payroll/benefits mailbox

· Respond to or route employee payroll/benefits questions appropriately

· Provide clear, professional communication to employees regarding payroll and benefits topics

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Operations, Payroll, or Benefits support role

· Hands-on experience supporting US payroll

· Working knowledge of HR generalist fundamentals

· Experience supporting 401(k) and HSA administration

· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadline-driven work

· Comfortable working with manual processes during system transitions

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work Schedule & Environment

· Part-time role with flexible hours

· On site in Needham, MA at least once per week

· One-year fixed-term assignment

Pay range: $33 to $45 USD per hour
