Job Description

The Director of Marketing Technology and Operations will be a key member of our marketing leadership team and will play a pivotal role in driving our global B2B marketing strategy across both the life sciences and industrial sectors. This role will be responsible for the strategy and execution of a global website for Evident Scientific.  We have a partner and platform selected (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager) and you will work to implement. The ideal candidate possesses GM-like thinking to drive increased qualified leads through the website and builds a great experience of content for existing customers.  We’ll need this person to continually drive performance of the site which contributes to the marketing, sales, and customer service business units.

Job Duties


*  Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing technology strategy that aligns with Evident Scientific's growth objectives and global expansion plans in both the life sciences and industrial sectors.

*  Oversee the management and optimization of our digital properties, including the website and other online assets, to enhance user experience and drive lead generation across geographies and sectors.

*  Own our marketing technology architecture and strategy, ensuring that meaningful data and insights pass seamlessly between marketing and sales technologies.

*  Lead the vision for our marketing technology roadmap - audit and evaluate our marketing technology stack, including digital content management, automation capabilities, lead processing, measurement, and reporting. 

*  Lead the management and optimization of the marketing automation platform to drive targeted and personalized marketing campaigns, nurturing leads and improving conversion rates in both sectors.

*  Collaborate closely with regional marketing teams to ensure seamless global deployment of marketing technology solutions, accommodating multiple languages and regional nuances for both life sciences and industrial clients.

*  Drive data management to increase data integrity and market reach across geographies, own marketing database strategy and data use cases.

* Lead and execute the vision for marketing analytics, defining the measurement framework, including key KPIs and funnel metrics that provide actionable insights to the management team.

*  Work cross-functionally, collaborating and liaising with stakeholders in marketing, sales, IT and finance to understand challenges and opportunities that impact the sales & marketing funnel and pipeline.

*  Build and lead high-performing marketing technology and marketing operations teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Job Requirements




*  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.


*  15+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations/technology leadership roles, preferably in the B2B, life sciences, and industrial industries.


*  Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager, AEM




*  Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing marketing technology solutions, including CMS, marketing automation and CRM systems.


*  Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment with great attention to detail.


*  Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Pardot is highly desirable.


*  Experience operating in a global marketing environment with multiple regions and languages.


*  Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.


*  Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.


*  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
