Job Description
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role includes managing warehouse staff and Shipping/Receiving department. Optimizing workflows, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting company logistics and customer service goals.
Job Duties
- Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Plan, organize and control warehouse operations
- Plan, organize and control the shipping and receiving department.
- Supervise, train and evaluate personal.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and timely order fulfilment.
- Daily Cycle Counting of parts. Determining root cause of discrepancies and implementing countermeasures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized environment
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and material handling processes. Continuous improvement of processes.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, supply chain, Engineering and logistics teams.
- Manage warehouse to control and improve costs.
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments where no standard processes have been established.
- Act as a champion of the company’s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs.
- Ability to lead by example.

- Maintain and tracking of KPI’s
- Constantly review current processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend changes to eliminate waste and to promote cost reductions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy. Knowledge of the MRP system.
- Knowledge of using UPS, FED-EX and DHL and the following shipping documentation S.L.I’s (Shippers Letter of Instruction Bills of Landing, BOL (for domestic and international shipments as well as filing shipments in AES (Gov’t Portal with knowledge of using HTS Codes)
Job Requirements
Education:
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, logistic, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistic experience.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Requires standing, walking, bending and lifting for extended periods.
- Must possess the organizational skill to multi-task and meet deadlines.
