Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Global Commercial Systems at Evident Scientific is a key business leader responsible for driving the strategy, design, optimization, and adoption of Evident’s global commercial technology ecosystem—including Salesforce (SFDC), CPQ and other customer-facing systems.
This role acts as the primary business owner of these platforms and serves as the strategic bridge between Sales Operations, Commercial Teams, Finance, and IT.
This leader will develop and manage the global roadmap for commercial systems, ensure process and data alignment across regions, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sales productivity, operational efficiency, and customer engagement across Evident Scientific’s global footprint.
Job Duties
1. Commercial Systems Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and maintain the global commercial systems roadmap for Evident Scientific.
- Translate commercial, sales, and marketing strategies into scalable system capabilities.
- Partner with IT on feasibility and delivery.
2. Platform Ownership (SFDC, CPQ)
- Serve as the business owner for SFDC and CPQ.
- Drive design supporting lead management, pipeline management, quoting, and workflows.
3. Business Process Design & Optimization
- Lead end-to-end commercial process design across regions.
- Identify inefficiencies and drive solutions.
- Stay current with industry’s best practices and technologies and propose technical solutions to continuously improve sales team’s productivity.
4. Analytics, Insights & Reporting
- Define reporting requirements with Sales Ops analytics team.
- Coordinate with regional teams to deploy critical dashboard/reporting.
5. Change Management & Adoption
- Lead global change management for system releases.
- Partner with regional teams for training and communication.
- Identify regional CRM experts and/or super-users, build and leverage a global expert community.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Manage Change Request
- Liaison between Sales Operations and IT.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and IT leaders.
Job Requirements
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, SFDC/CPQ management, or Commercial Systems.
• Strong functional experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ (business ownership or admin-level understanding).
• Proven experience in process design, commercial workflows, and change management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
• Experience in life sciences, medical devices, or scientific instrumentation industries.
• Salesforce certifications (Admin, Consultant, CPQ) preferred.
• Experience working in global matrixed organizations.
• Management of direct reports.

125k-170k salary range plus 15% annual bonus target
