Job Description
The MIS Product Specialist – Spinning Systems is a technical sales specialist responsible for driving growth, adoption, and market penetration of Evident Scientific’s SPINNING Systems product line. This role serves as the subject-matter expert supporting complex sales opportunities, customer demonstrations, and technical positioning in partnership with MIS Core Sales Managers and the Confocal Team.
Job Duties
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales growth and market expansion for the SPINNING Systems product portfolio.
- Support MIS Core Sales Managers with technical expertise and product positioning.
- Execute strategic growth initiatives with the High Growth Senior Sales Manager.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
Technical Expertise & Customer Engagement
- Serve as technical and application expert for SPINNING Systems.
- Conduct customer presentations and demonstrations.
- Translate customer workflows into tailored solutions.
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Confocal Team on shared opportunities.
- Work with Applications, Marketing, and Product Management.
- Maintain alignment with MIS Core Sales Managers.
Market & Business Intelligence
- Track competitive activity and market trends.
- Provide field feedback to internal teams.
- Support sales meetings and training sessions.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7+ years of technical sales or product specialist experience.
- Strong knowledge of spinning disk or confocal imaging systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel 40–60%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with confocal or fluorescence microscopy.
- Experience in matrixed sales organizations.
- Familiarity with academic, pharma, biotech, or industrial research markets.
