Job Description

This position can be based remotely in the U.S.

 

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and detail-oriented Tradeshow Manager to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of our Americas tradeshows. The ideal candidate will have experience in the life sciences sector, a strong understanding of B2B marketing, and the ability to manage multiple complex events that align with business goals and regulatory standards.

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities:

Event Strategy & Planning:
o    Develop and execute a comprehensive annual tradeshow and event plan aligned with marketing and sales objectives.
o    Research and recommend relevant industry events, scientific congresses, and exhibitions.
o    Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to determine event goals, messaging, and KPIs.

Project Management:
o    Lead cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget event execution.
o    Manage all aspects of event logistics, including booth selection, exhibit design, vendor coordination, shipping, accommodations, and registration.

Onsite Execution:
o    Oversee all onsite event logistics, including setup, staff coordination, lead retrieval, and brand compliance.
o    Ensure events comply with relevant industry regulations (e.g., FDA, GDPR, PhRMA guidelines).

Post-Event Analysis:
o    Conduct post-show debriefs and ROI analysis.
o    Provide recommendations for improvement based on performance data and stakeholder feedback.

Budget Management:
o    Manage and report on tradeshow and event budgets.
o    Negotiate contracts with vendors to optimize spend and value.

Brand & Messaging:
o    Ensure brand consistency and scientific accuracy in all event materials and communications.
o    Partner with creative and content teams to develop signage, presentations, and promotional materials.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or relevant experience.

 

Experience:
•    5+ years of experience in event or tradeshow management, preferably within life sciences, biotech, or healthcare.


Skills:
•    Strong project management skills with a proven track record of executing successful tradeshows and events.
•    Understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the life sciences industry.
•    Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•    Proficiency with event management tools (e.g., Cvent, Salesforce, Monday.com).

Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.):
•    Willingness to travel (up to 20%).
•    CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or related certification.
•    Experience with tradeshow and  event planning.
•    Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
