Job Description

In an agile software development environment, this role is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing advanced tools that optimize developer productivity, enhance product quality, and improve the overall operational efficiency of the software development platform.

The incumbent will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify gaps, evaluate solutions, and build and maintain high-availability infrastructure and controlled environments that support efficient software development, integration, testing, and delivery. These contributions will directly strengthen the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of our platform development ecosystem.

Job Duties

  • Map and document value-stream workflow process, identify gaps and bottlenecks, evaluate and implement scalable, data-driven, and reliable improvements across the development lifecycle.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement advanced tools and CI/CD enhancements to increase developer efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
  • Optimize and maintain high-availability infrastructure and controlled environments supporting builds, source management, validation, delivery, and architecture management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new technologies, automation, and best practices.
  • Support teams in adopting a DevOps culture, advanced and AI tools, and actively contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, C.S., or a related field.
  • Quick learner with the ability to research, adapt, and apply new technologies.
  • Familiar with Windows and Linux development environments.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting and programming languages, including Bash, Python, PHP, C++, C#, JavaScript, Java/Groovy, InstallShield, etc.
  • Interest in orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and configuration mgmt. tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet).
  • Basic understanding of source and binary management tools (e.g., Git, GitLab, GitWeb).
  • Awareness of cloud platforms and web services.
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology and agile development practices.
  • Strong interest in DevOps concepts and principles.
  • Interest in test and measurement within software or engineering contexts.
  • Intermediate English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.

Hourly Rate: $26.00-$30.00 per hour-depending on experience
