Job Description
The Repair Calibration Technician II is responsible for in-house testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of Evident Instrumentation used in laboratory, manufacturing and other environments.
Job Duties
* Perform in-house testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of portable Evident Instrumentation.
* Ensure timely, professional, and effective response to customer service needs to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Responsible for analyzing results, and maintenance of logs and required documentation.
* Prepare technical reports and Quality Control data for each unit’s record.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate’s degree in Mechanics, Electronics, or equivalent experience, Military or Technical School. Bachelor’s degree with no work experience will be considered. Prefer mechanics or electronics area of study.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing instruments and/or electronic devices required.
* Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) mandatory.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working in a calibration and repair facility strongly desired.
* Experience in technical after sales service environment/organization field service a plus.
* Ability to diagnose and repair to both board level and component level.
* Ability to follow detailed calibration procedures.
